Just a one minute walk away from the house, this is a great option for local take out. Anita makes a delicious jerk pork, very spicy chicken sandwich or even Veggie fettuccine. Portions are big!

We are less than a 5 minute drive from the Fish Fry Shacks where most of Exuma's nightlife takes place! These small bars have local food, but are also where you go to dance or sing karaoke (country music is popular!). Thurs through Sunday are the busiest days.

Why not hop on one of the water taxis from the government dock and take a ride to the sandbar on Starfish Beach, located on Stocking Island! There, you can enjoy the crystal clear waters with a delicious cocktail in hand. Jonathan, who owns the bar, also owns Dive Exuma for any diving enthusiasts.

While you're on Exuma, if you have a chance, come into George Town and stop at Minns Water Sports. Our business is renting boats to enjoy Elizabeth Harbour. You can explore the harbour and snorkel some coral reefs, enjoy a beach, trek a trail on Stocking Island, or just relax at a beach bar with a nice cold drink while you take in the serenity and beauty of the place and people.
Rent a car and take a 30 minute drive to Tropic of Cancer Beach, also known as Pelican Beach, is a graceful crescent of white-powder sand bordering the translucent blue-green water along the coast of Little Exuma. The longest beach on the island, it is also the prettiest in the Exuma chain and you will probably have it all to yourself.

Ok, in true disclosure you don't go here for the food (it's honestly almost Terrible) but the drinks are strong, the beer is cold and the beach/party scene is happening. Its where you go to see and be seen and show off your new boat (even if its a rental!)

The island is 65 miles long, with no public transit and nearly no sidewalks or streetlights. Everything is spread out so while you can have a great time walking within a 30 minute radius of our place, you need a vehicle to see everything

If you are considering a boat tour which we highly recommend , it's a great idea to kick off your trip with a boat tour, just in case bad weather requires rescheduling later in the week. Disappointment can be avoided this way.
Take a full day to explore all the pristine beaches in Little Exuma, from the likes of Pretty Molly Bay and Forbes Hill to TOC, culminating your beach-hopping adventure at Santannas.

On another day, embark on a northbound drive, (locals say west ) with pit stops at Hoopers Bay for an unforgettable turtle-swimming experience, Cocoplum Beach for relaxation, and the picturesque Exuma Point Beach in Rolleville as your final destination catching the sunset. Along the way, you'll stumble upon several more captivating beaches.
consider renting a boat for a day or two, and if you have a rental with a dock, that's even more convenient. Depending on your boat rental company, you can explore additional gems like Man of War Cay, Moriah Harbor National Park

If you aren't comfortable renting a boat, there are alternative options to explore Stocking Island. You can take a water taxi to Stocking Island or opt for PEACE & PLENTY RESORT water taxis, which can take you to the Peace and Plenty Beach Club on Stocking Island. There, you can enjoy a day of relaxation, water toys, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. Highly recommend.
