You will need a car to get around easier as Ipswich does not have good public transport. There is a number 4 bus from the near by bus stop that goes to town every 30 min. There are more buses available at Faxhall roundabout which is 6 min walking distance.However there is no direct bus link to Ipswich train station. Also with your own car you can visit all interesting places in Suffolk.
