A favorite of famous jockeys and trainers. Wagner’s Pharmacy is a must try for anyone staying at The Churchill Cottage. This is a dinner style resturant and we love everything on the menu! We would have to recommend the omelets if you’re there for breakfast. If you happen to be there for lunch on a Friday, you must try the fish.

This place has a large selection of beer on tap and has some great eats also. The Boys in Blu pizza and the BBQ Chicken Nachos are our favorites. This kind of has a sports bar atmosphere but not as many TVs as you might be accustomed to in a traditional sports bar.

Located Downtown on Whiskey Row. This place is great. It’s a BBQ joint and an oyster bar. We have never had the oysters because the BBQ is too good to pass up. The brisket and pulled pork are great. Try the Bubba Burger if your’re up for a challenge. The sides are all good, but we usually go with some of the more traditional BBQ sides like baked beans, cole slaw and Mac-N -Cheese. If you are looking for a great starter, the nachos are killer. They call them Heap -N-Chips on the menu. It’s Doc’s potato chips plated nacho style covered in pull pork or beef brisket and your typical nacho condiments.

My family loves this restaurant for the views, music, drinks and atmosphere. We love to sit in the chairs down by the water and listed to music while taking in the views. Definitely recommend going around dinner and asking for a patio seat.

During the winter this area of town has an amazing outdoor ice skating rink with a hot chocolate bar close by. Look up Paristown Ice Skating on Facebook and check out the times of operation and theme nights.

This park is an incredible asset to our city. There is so much to do here. Everything from hiking, canoeing and fishing to soccer and bike riding. It's a great place to enjoy a beautiful day.
