Public Bus System
Public buses (also called jitneys) are a cost effective way to get around. Walk 2 blocks towards the ocean to West Bay Street. Stand on the oceanside if you want to head to downtown or Paradise Island. Stand on the opposite side if you want to head towards the airport. Bus #10 and #12 is what you are looking for. Just stick your hand out and wave them down when you see them coming. Buses run from about 6am - 6/7pm. You can always ask the driver if they will stop at your desired location. Cost is $1.25, exact change needed.
