Great coffee. A bit pricey on the coffee drinks, but they definitely geek out on their coffee and you can taste the difference. Not much for food, just bagels and donuts, but they are made locally and are tasty.

Parks & Nature
It is just amazing. If you have the time, go and soak in the Strawberry Park Hot Springs. If you drive up there, make sure you have AWD or 4WD, specifically in the wintertime. You can call them to see when the shuttles are going up, too. After sun goes down it is adults only and clothing optional, so heads up on that one.

Beautiful hiking area close to town. There is a paved path for those wanting something accessible or just an easy walk to an awesome view. You can also hike up the narrow single path to the top of the falls and make a more difficult hike out of it. You will need a car to get up there (or bike it, if you are hard core), and cars cost a few bucks to park for the day, so make sure to bring some cash or a check book for the parking permit.

Tons of hiking and biking trails on Emerald Mountain, which is right downtown. They have added lots of trails on this mountain over the past few years, and you can go all day on the connecting trails. Make sure to grab a map online at the streamboatsprings.net website.

Arts & Culture
Impressive collection of Steamboat area history. My kids and I love going to this museum. If you are here during the holiday season, they also have a really cool "Festival of Trees" exhibit, where local businesses sponsor and decorate Christmas trees, they are awesome. Closed on Sundays.
