Sightseeing

Baguio City's rich history includes the creation of the city by the Americans during the turn of the century in 1905. Camp John Hay was developed as the premier US Army outpost and R&R station. Built among majestic pine forest, it is still kept as a park by the Philippine government today. Visit the Bell House Museum.

Food Adventure

As owner/chef of Ozark Diner, we hesitate to comment on restaurants. But, since we understand that the average Baguio City tourist would have to eat out at least five times, we've come up with out own list that we do eat at frequently for different reasons.
At P275 for their fresh and food-safe Mongolian BBQ, this gastropub is a go-to for Chef Kevin and I. They have a variety of locally crafted beer as well.

American Southern Cuisine is the equivalent to Pampanga Cuisine in the Philippines in that their cuisine is about SOUL. Lots of soul! Try their Creole Seafood Jambalaya (photo).

By far, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Baguio City. We love their no-nonsense approach of sticking to regional Japanese cuisine. True, they also have sushi, sashimi and tempura, however, go for their unique dishes beyond the fast-food tried-and-familiar items.

For the best "carenderia" meals, their selections are good-eats. They close for dinner, so catch them during the day hours. Plus points for good parking.
