This is my favorite taco stand. After years operating as a small cart, they now have a dining room. On weekend late nights, you'll find families chowing down while Richard TV plays on the big screen. Pirated DVDs and other goodies for sale in the lot out front. Try every salsa and all the meats.

This street is Denver's original Main Street, and where the revitalization started, when preservationist Dana Crawford saw something special about this dilapidated block in the mid-1960s. She created a paper cutout of its storefront windows and rooflines and got a friend to support her in her vision of revitalization. From there, she had a hand in bringing MLB baseball to downtown AND the overhaul of Union Station, where they named a hotel after her. Go stroll down the street, have some drinks, eat some delicious (but pricey) food.

This new installment of the Santa Fe art collective (turned uber-ambitious entertainment corporation) is billed as experiential or immersive art. With the different rooms and worlds layed out inside, you might forget you're in a five story building tucked between two highways. It's almost hard to take in all at once--but definitely worth a visit. The place practically sings a siren song of altered mind states, and the parking nearby is iffy, so consider hopping on the train at Broadway Station, jumping off at Auraria West, then hoofing it under I-25. Head towards the light.
