-Dioramic walk showing vegetation, animals (bears, beavers, moose, wolves, birds), early indigenous people and how they lived, logging period and early European settlers, early development of railway and tourism in the area.
A MUST SEE - REALLY GREAT PLACE TO SPEND TIME PARTICULARLY ON A RAINY DAY.
-Excellent 15 minute video with incredible photography giving a brief background of the area from before early settlers.
-Great little Gift Shop with lots and lots interesting books for children and adults about various aspects of the park

Weather is changeable. Summer generally warm, spring & fall can be quite cool especially at night.
eg, T-shirts, sweater or sweat shirt and a light jacket.
Rain gear, hiking boots as well as a pair of sneakers/running shoes
Hat for protection from the sun on hot days or rain on rainy days.
Complete change of clothes in case you are tipped out of a canoe or caught in a downpour. Bathing suit if you like to swim. Bug spray for in the late spring (end of May to early June)
