A quiet residential area with its own conveniences, like a pub/restaurant, shop, gym, crèche, launderette, Doctor, dentist surgeries. I am metres from them all.
A car is the most convenient thing for travel in Ireland, but it’s ok if you don’t have one either, as I’m on the 216 bus route which has a stop 5minutes away from my home.

One of my all time favourite things to do on a fresh Saturday. Stunning views and a lovely, long walk. Then into the village of Garryvoe for a warming bowl of fresh chowder! Yum!

You can walk here on a stunning, very popular 45 minute pedestrian walkway, have a look around or maybe even pay to go into the observatory. Then have a fantastic meal in the restaurant (which is nearly always booked out!) and stroll home again orelse hop on a bus to the city and continue your exploration!
