On the Door Peninsula we have Villages. And they are all different. Each Village has its own feel and offerings. Visit them all!
The Village of Ephraim is a quaint, quiet town the has incredible views, plenty of water activities, a sweet little library, delicious food, a public beach and boat dock, safe sidewalks to walk on, and a general feel of that small one-horse town. We don't have stop lights and the speed limit is 25 mph. You will absolutely love it.

Walk across the water on a shoal of stones to Cana Island Lighthouse. Pay the fee for an opportunity to walk up the spiral staircase to the top of the lighthouse and walk around the top. The views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area are breathtaking. For those that don't want to walk on water...ride the wagon across and stay dry. In seasons where we are short on rainfall, the walk across is on dry stones.
