This is one of the best restaurants on the island, in my humble opinion. Friendly service, great Greek cuisine and excellent value for money. Try the fish soup! it's fantastic! Enjoy your meal with a table right on the beach.

Great tavern. One of the best on the island. Slightly on the expensive side! Don't miss the sea urchin salad or the fantastic spaghetti with sea food or lobster

Ligoneri is approximately 3 klm from the port of Spetses (called Dapia).
The beach that goes by the same name is one of the few on the island where you can enjoy the sea without any beach bars or music. Just pine trees that go all the way to the sea.

Try the Magus, in the grounds of the old School in Spetses. Great atmosphere away from road noise and great food and drinks.
It takes its name from the book The Magus by John Fowls - about a young Englishman teaching at the School. It's partly based on the author's own experience as a teacher in the School in the 59s

it will make your stay far more enjoyable and give you a chance to explore the island. Spetses is a small island. The road that takes you around the island is only 24 klms (16 miles). You'll find some pretty nice beaches on the way (Ag. Anargyroi, Ag. Paraskevi ) and you can visit the Bakiris Cave, where legend has it, the locals would hide the women and children during pirate and Turkish raids )
