Paesano is a 10 min walk from the apartment, the Neopolitan-styled pizzas are great and pretty cheap! It's very popular and therefore you may have to wait a little while for a table as they don't take reservations (it's worth it though!)

You'll need to book in advance (normally easier to get lunch reservations) but this place is great. Every 6 weeks they change their menu to a new theme. You can get a full tasting menu with wine and it's delicious! There are also 2 sister restaurants in Glasgow: Public House by Nico and 111 by Nico

If it's a clear day then you MUST go here! It's a gorgeous restaurant, bar and hotel on the banks of Lake of Menteith (the only Lake in Scotland). It is also right next door to the little port where boats will take you out to one of the islands on the Lake to view a historic Abbey.
