Jill's recommendations for eating and drinking
We are slowly working our way through pubs, cafés and restaurants of Ludlow!
We still have quite a few yet to try, but these are our favourites at the moment.
The Green Cafe, a friendly cafe-restaurant situated on the banks of the River Teme overlooking the weir and Dinham bridge. Simple, unpretentious, globally inspired and exciting dishes. I love to go for breakfast - bookng recommended.

Market Street (100m from apartment). Excellent Thai food and service although booking recommended at weekends. The entrance is actually down a little side alley and the bar opposite is highly recommended if the restaurant is already full and you have to wait.
Just discovered they do a Sunday lunchtime bbq, which smells delicious.

Caynham Camp is an Iron Age Hill Fort dating back to around 500bc. This walk takes you to the top of the small hill where the fort is. From you here you can get a good view of the eastern side of Ludlow, the Clee Hills and south towards Herefordshire. The camp is a lovely place for a picnic, very quite and peaceful with some interesting earth defense works constructed by the ancient Celtic people of Britain.
