SUMMER
The mountain experiences offered by Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen & Bramberg in the Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region will be twice as en-joyable, and twice as easy to reach since summer 2018. Now including the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg, two of our area mountain lifts will be providing summer service.
Once at the top, the adventure continues right next to the mountain station: the new, winding mountain go-cart course is a summer thrill ride for sure: on three-wheel, all-terrain carts, 4 km all the way down to the mid-station (1624 m). Enormous fun, as you can imagine, and frankly, impossible to get enough of – which means, you’re very likely to repeat it over and over again!
Over 75mountain go-carts in four different sizes (S, M, L, XL) are available. The equipment is loaded into the cabins at the middle station by our personnel and transported back up the mountain. Thus, even on busy days there are no, or only short waiting times.
The line is open during the Smaragdbahn's operating hours!
Attention:
For safety reasons, small children under 4 years of age may not use the mountain go-carts.
Children between 4 and 9 years can ride if accompanied by an adult (see rates below).
From 10 years and a minimum height of 150 cm children are allowed to steer their own mountain go-cart – if accompanied by a supervising adult.
A protective helmet is compulsory – loan of a helmet is included in the price.
Suits can be borrowed for a small charge.

SPRUCE TREE CASTLE IN ZELL AM ZILLER
Come and explore a magic realm of discovery – on the Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller.
Every childhood is a time of wonder and enchantment. In the Spruce Tree Castle children and their families, together with the little Spruce Sprites, can discover that magic again.
A long, long time ago the busy little Spruce Sprites came to the Rosenalm pastures and set to work to create a grand castle and grounds for the Prince and his wife, who planned to come and live in the mountains.
Guests, both children and ‘kids at heart’, can now enjoy a world of fun and adventure clambering on the climbing tower, sliding down the tower chute and ‘working’ in the crane tower. The breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains is best enjoyed from the 18 metre-high viewing tower. In addition to a vast water-play area and an adventure playground, budding little builders can carry on the work of the Spruce Sprites in the builders’ hut and crane. There are also numerous idyllic spots in which to rest, relax and unwind, making a summer holiday in the Zillertal Arena even more enjoyable!
Spruce Tree Castle – facts and figures:
‘Castle grounds’ spanning more than 5,000 m²
Four walk-in towers (chute tower, crane tower, climbing tower, viewing tower)
Adventure playground
Water and sand play areas
Treetop trail
Spruce spirit builders’ hut
Picnic and relaxation areas, perfect for young and old alike
Castle kitchen with barbecue area
TIP: There is the possibility to have a barbecue from 11 am until 2 pm. If you don't bring your sausages with you, you can buy one on our barbecue-vending machine.
