This short (approx 1/2 mile trail) leads out to cliffs that overlook tumultuous seas. (Not great for little children as there are no railings and a fall would be disastrous.) You can view sea lions and seals hauled out on the rocks and watch boats fight the current and whirlpools to make passage. Great place to pack a picnic (if you don't mind sitting on the ground) and watch the world go by. One note of caution....on occasion, locals have been known to sunbathe in the nude on the lower rocks.
