It was the home of Daniel O'Connell, the Great Liberator. A tour of the house is suggested together with a tasty cup of coffee and cake in Ahamore Tearooms which is in the courtyard. Finally the gardens are wonderful together with the fairy trail in part of it. Well worth a visit.
