The beach is amazing and changes dramatically between high and ow tides.
You may see many types of bird, including cockatoos, rosellas, lorikeets, ibis, kookaburras, wattle birds and ducks. Wallabies, echidnas, possums, frogs and blue-tongued lizards are common on or near the property. You may even hear koalas, but are unlikely to see them (except at the Koala Sanctuary or the wildlife park). Our property and neighbouring properties are unfenced, which is why we do not allow dogs or cats

Other
There is an Information Centre in the main street in Cowes and also on the main road soon after you cross the bridge over to the island. Some additional things you might consider are:
A helicopter or plane flight from the airfield between Cape Woolamai and Surf Beach
The National Vietnam Veterans Museum next to the airfield
The waterfront at Rhyll (main sailing centre on the island)
The waterfront at San Remo - shops, fishing port and pelican feeding at lunchtime.
