The Kibera Empowerment Walking Tour
See Kibera as only a local could and experience the real Kibera through the lense of hope. We’ll meet the dreamers creating a difference in Kibera through their mission-driven, small businesses. There are 5 stops on our journey... 1. Moses's House - I'll start by inviting you into my house, to tell you my story, from growing up in Kibera through starting my own tour company with a mission. From there we’ll walk the railroad tracks of Kibera, meeting the people. 2. The Kibera Organization - We'll meet Edu who provides microloans for female-owned small businesses. They also provide motorbikes for Kibera residents to get to work. 3. Bio Gas Center - We’ll meet Edwin, the founder of a project which turns Kibera’s waste into energy for it’s inhabitants. 4. Women’s Craft Center - We’ll meet Rosemary who set up a workshop for women living with HIV. Collectively they remove the stigma of HIV by employing women with HIV to create crafts. 5. Master's Touch Bakery - At the finale of our tour, we’ll meet Nancy for coffee & fresh baked goods. Nancy will relate her story of starting a business as a single mother and the adversities women face starting a business in Kenya. +254 715184389 Other things to note Our meeting location will be the parking lot of Nakumatt Prestige, at the giant coca cola bottle. We offer an inspirational "off-the-beaten-track" experience of Nairobi, guided by youth from slums who raised themselves on the streets of Nairobi City Centre. During a personal, one-on-one, 3-hours walking tour in Downtown, you will experience the city centre through the eyes of street children. Get the real insights into their way of life, get captivated by their life stories and ghetto-energy, learn from their street skills, ask all your questions, shop at local markets, bargain with your guides to pay a local price, eat street food, have tea with mechanics, see street art among and last but not least become friends with them. Social Impact: By booking a Nai Nami Tour you give disadvantaged youth from slums an opportunity to earn a regular income and inspire them as a role model. Other things to note Carry your passport copy and wear good shoes (no sandals or high heels), it's a walking tour!
Roast & learn everything about coffee
Come and discover what it takes to make a cup of coffee as you journey through the scenic views the coffee farm has to offer. Your tour guide will explain everything about the growing and processing of coffee. He will show you the seedling beds, the fermentation tanks and drying beds. Thereafter he will take you through the process of roasting of the coffee beans. Here, you will get to roast your own batch of coffee and take it as your souvenir. Finally you will have a cup of coffee and snacks at the rooftop with a view of the farm. Other things to note Bring your own camera, comfortable walking shoes ( preferably sports shoes) , a hat and arrange for transportation to the venue.

I'll take you on a walk through Kibera, and you'll get an up-close look at the city's largest and most thriving informal settlement. We'll visit social impact activities that supports and trains young entrepreneurs within Kibera. As we walk through Kibera, you'll meet locals and see the growing arts and music scene, while discovering daily life. I'll talk about Kibera's history, political and social struggles, and its role in greater Nairobi as we walk. You'll get a chance to experience the warmth, strength, and resiliency of Kibera's residents. At the end of the experience, we'll stop in a local shop for snacks. Other things to note Please bring your camera, but leave other valuables at home. Closed-toed shoes are required. You will walk about 3-5 km. Unfortunately, this tour is not accessible for those with limited mobility.

Cultural dances with the locals
Come with me to one of the most interesting places you have ever been to. Within Nairobi City, is the great Bomas of Kenya where we will enjoy cultural dances from majority of the ethnic tribes in the country. From the Maasai Eunoto dance to the Swahili Taarabs not forgetting the spectacular Chuka drummers all in one place. We will also get a chance to interact with the dancers and also take some photos and also look at some of the cultural artefacts used by the dancers such as waist beads, anklets and necklaces; some of which we can purchase and take home with us. When we return,we will have some nice tea accompanied with some healthy snacks while chatting about the day we had.

Hiking through the mountains
My experience basically deals with a tour to Kalenjin’s community predominantly occupied home Kericho. Kericho borders the vast Mau Forest and is a stretch of green land with an ideal climate, it is a cultural, educational and agricultural center. It is a quiet place filled with the finest places ranging from historical sites to sacred places .our first place to visit with the guests will be Fort Tenan museum after the tour around the place the guests will have digested all the information there is to know and seen preserved fossils and tools used by early man, we will then end our experience by hiking up the rocks of Chebulu conservancy ,the expansive land found there is ideal for picnics with family and friends and even team-building activities it is also home to different birds and monkeys, it’s just a perfect spot to take some time off and rejuvenate .we will end our time together by having a treat to wholesome local food.
Timboroa forest hike
Connecting with our natural environment is very sensational. Join me for an urban forest hike at Timboroa forest.The forest is located along Eldoret- Nakuru road. A thrilling experience awaits you in this forest as it has thousands of bird species, a waterfall, caves, picnic sites, a lily lake among many other exciting sceneries. We will meet up at 8am at Kasarani Safari Park Hotel and depart to our destination at exactly 7am. The hike shall start at 8am and will run for 9hours. After the hike, we will have some snacks and drinks as we connect. Come join us in this magical experience!
Trail walk through Oloolua Forest
Join me on one of the most beautiful trails in Kenya and create memories you cannot forget. We will go through the oloolua waterfall and the Oloolua Forest. You will also have a very nice view of Nairobi City, Kenya's capital. All this, and we will only walk about 2.7 miles. This trail is easy and fun for beginners. When we return, we'll end our time together with some lunch and tea.

Just arrived in Nairobi? Want a tour of what Nairobi has to offer in terms of outdoor scenery and activities? Join me for a tour to the most scenenic and ideal spots in Nairobi. From Hiking and to zip lining to picnics ti paint ball on the best natural venues in Nairobi. Guests will get to enjoy the best natural outdoor spaces through different activities a just a few minutes drive away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. I shall meet the guests/tourist at the Junction Mall a well known shopping mall in Nairobi City. I buy them kenyan coffee and tea as we proceed to know each other then head for shopping for to buy a few essentials for the short trip i.e ( snacks, energy drinks fruits) We head either to the scenic ngong hills for hiking or kereita forest for hiking, zip lining, paint ball, team building. We hire an Uber, then head to the venue. We arrive at the venue which are all scheduled to be less than one hour away from The Junction Mall. Activities include hiking, zip lining, archery, bike riding, bird watching, picnic, eating Kenyan made nyama choma(vegan options avilable too). All activities are set to take about 6 hours, enough time for guest to leave in good time before 6 pm. After activities we return to the departure centre, which is the Junction mall for coffee or tea as we conclude the day.
Hiking in the beautiful hills of hells gate
Join me in the beautiful of trails of hells gate, i will take you on a hike on hilly places in the local area where nature is untouched and rivers flow. We would then visit one or two historic sites. Finally i would like them visit people in that area where we'll have some local dishes organised by me. The most important thing is to have you enjoy the experience its a nice place to be for good memories. Incase of any inquiries I would be there to answer.
