We'll have a day trip through the woods north of Rome, hunting truffles with the help of trained dogs, we will pass through areas rich in history of outstanding natural beauty. After the trip we will go to have lunch at my house, we will learn how to cook truffles dishes and we'll eat them for lunch with a very good wine. Then you will get familiar with all our birds, and the way our breeding station operates to save various endangered species. They will fly just above your heads, and they will land on your arm protected by a special leather glove. This is a hands-on experience, quite literally! Then we stop to have the best coffee in Rome in a very popular bar, we drink a glass of wine from the bottle that waits for us in a picnic basket behind the car and then the famous Italian ice cream. We drive through the romantic alleys where many shops are located , in the air we can smell the inviting aroma coming out the restaurants that serve typical Roman dishes. At each place, we will get pictures taken by the staff or from me. Each stop will be 10-15 minutes and the guests are free to visit the locations alone if they wish so.. Be prepared to live a unique experience, in contact with dogs and nature! Take a break from the city chaos that fills our days every day. After an introduction to the world of truffles, we will begin our hunt. You will see how the trained dogs hunt for truffles and the passion they have, this being a very rewarding activity for them. Depending on the period we will go to different types of woods and the meeting point may change. Truffle hunting is also accessible to children (my dogs will be happy to play with them!). After the truffle hunting we will have a lunch with truffle dishes. The menu is vast so I don't suggest you have a big breakfast! We also have menus for vegetarians, celiacs, vegans and we can also change it according to your allergies or intolerances. During lunch we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better, drinking good wine and eating fresh seasonal truffles. Other things to remember. Long, comfortable trousers are required (ankles must be covered). I also suggest wearing a pair of boots. If you don't have them, sneakers are fine too.

We will visit a natural labyrinth system – a 3 dimensional playground, where we will often have to clamber up steep walls and creep through narrow passages. You’ll be part of our crazy big family for a day and join us as we walk the tiny medieval streets of Palombara Sabina to Grandma’s kitchen, located in the old winepress where our great-grandpas used to make wine that the community tapped straight from the barrel (or in Grandma's home... according to the weather). It's a special place for our family and the entire village. We will cook Ravioli, Fettuccine and Farfalle... you will be in a food coma at the end of the experience! I workshops consistono in un'ora e mezza di lavoro e divertimento divisi in due parti. La prima prevede l'uso di una piastra trasparente in vetro dove gli ospiti realizzeranno una figura con pezzi di vetro di Murano, chiamati graniglia, che verrà poi cucinato in forno. Il vetro si fonderà e la figura realizzata rimarrà all'ospite. La seconda parte, consiste in una fase dimostrativa da parte del Maestro e successivamente una prova pratica degli ospiti della lavorazione del vetro di Murano. Gli ospiti lavoreranno il vetro con la fiamma e proveranno la piacevole sensazione dell'antica lavorazione a lume. I workshop sono ideali anche per famiglie con bambini sopra ai 12 anni, che adoreranno la magia del vetro. Altre cose da tenere a mente I lavori terminati nella prima parte del workshop, verranno cotti nel forno per circa 3 ore, mentre gli oggetti realizzati con la fiamma saranno pronti dopo 2 ore di raffreddamento. Il tutto sarà consegnato il giorno stesso dopo 2/3 ore o il giorno successivo in accordo con i clienti. Durata Workshop: 1,5 ore.
