There is also a boardwalk that runs along the beach through the trees - this will take all the way down to the rock wall and the fish markets - go to the last shop - the best prawns and fish

Across the river there is a lovely walk around the river head - take the walk along the rock wall and around the front beach up to the lighthouse. Cute little surf beaches on the way and Kawana Beach is a good surf spot except when there is a southerly coming through.

Want a nice walking trail without the hard work - a nice boardwalk will take you to a waterfall where you can swim. start at Harrys Lane (recommended as it is a nicer walk and there is a restaurant there too) or Quorn Close, Buderim.
