The City of North Vancouver has worked hard to bring a fun and vibrant atmosphere to Lower Lonsdale or as the locals call it LoLo. There are a large number of breweries and restaurants in this area. The Shipyards, at the bottom of Lonsdale has a beer garden with live music and food trucks on Fridays and Saturdays. In the summer there is a splash zone for kids and during the winter it turns into an outdoor skating rink.

Take the gondola up and enjoy the views of the City. If you’re into an extreme workout, the grouse grind is for you. It’s the ultimate stair master and it should be, you’re climbing a mountain.

Deep Cove is a small local, waterfront-oriented village centre. Bounded by the Seymour community to the west, the waters of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm, and the wilderness forests of the North Shore mountains, Deep Cove is one of the most scenic spots in the Lower Mainland.
Kayaking, SUPing and hiking are great here.
