The Roxy Bar - Great house band for live music enthusiasts! This club is very popular with locals and there is something happening most nights of the week!
The Red Room - This is a very popular club, especially on Fridays! The music has a Spanish flare. If you plan to go here on a Friday night, get there by no later than 9 pm or expect line ups excess of half an hour!
Celebrities Night Club - Arguably the best sound setup in all of Vancouver clubs! Celebrities focuses mostly on house and electronic music with a very inclusive environment!
Levels Night Club - Unique club with multiple rooms and varying music styles. Line ups can get long, be there before 10 pm!
The Blarney Stone - Fun Irish bar/club in Gastown. The crowd is very international here as there is a popular hostel near by. Friendly and fun environment with a younger average crowd.

Frankies Jazz Club - Very cool lounge with good food and chill live music
Cambie Bar - Rambunctious bar with games and cheaper beers. Popular and high energy bar!
Bimini's Beer Hall - Probably the most popular bar/club/hangout spot for UBC students! Good music, good vibes!
