Dog Parks
As a pet owner myself I understand how important your pet’s social life is to his behavior. These are some of the best doggy parks I have personally been to and visit often with walking trails and doggy bags available.
Broderick has 2 dog parks: one for big dogs only and one for small dogs only. The owners here have been some of the friendliest I have met and the pups are always well behaved.

Freedom Lake Park is a quick 5-minute drive with a separate park for large and small dogs. It also borders 2 small lakes with walking trails around the water.

This Dog Park is a bit smaller than the rest but it has Equestrian walking trails. If you’re lucky enough, you might end up walking your dog next to someone riding their horse. The park also has a Baseball Field and Basketball Court for your own enjoyment.

If you’re looking to save time behind the wheel, try making note of the busiest time of day around here. Monday-Friday WORST traffic hours are 4pm - 7pm and Saturday-Sunday are 2pm-4pm. However, the BEST traffic hours are: Monday-Friday before 10am and After 8pm; Saturday-Sunday before 12pm and After 7pm.

If you are a creature of the night and enjoy bar-crawling with friends. Downtown St. Petersburg and Ybor City in Tampa are the places you’ll want to explore. You can find fun arcade bars like “Parks and Rec” or pregame with cheap drinks at “5 Bucks Brewery.” Ybor is more of a nightclub/dance scene with some places only allowing you through their doors if you say the “secret” password. Please drink responsibly and DO NOT drink and drive.
