A short 10-15 minute drive to Deep Cove, a small nook that has some cute shops and eating options, including a local favorite, Honeys donuts.
Excellent place for an afternoon stroll or hike. It's a must see, if you have any free time!

Hiking Trails
At the top of Riverside Dr, a trail head leads you toward 3 different hiking trails. All are popular hiking trails, but it is still recommended to be prepared, wearing proper gear, footwear and bringing water, snacks and bear spray just in case. I've not had any encounters with wildlife, but I've heard many stories from friends.
The most gentle of all the hiking trails, after the initial hill, take a left and follow the ambling trail to the suspension bridge (3km). Bring a picnic in the summer, or just pack a snack for a nice break before heading back.
When heading out, be mindful of when the sun sets.
