Blue Ridge is a railroad town, with the historic Blue Ridge Depot at its center. The historic rail cars of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and Caboose Visitor Center will make you feel you have stepped back to a simpler time. But you will be amazed at the quality and number of upscale restaurants, shops and galleries along Main Street, and a whole day could be devoted just to discovering downtown Blue Ridge.
