Food Scene
Really delicious food and great micro brew, (Bray's brewpub). This is my go to place if I don't feel like cooking, (ironically Gary's is right across the street from the Shop n' save grocery store!) or for a drink at a nice bar with good local folks! Gary's has a summertime back deck area that's great for kids as they can roam around and play yard games. I like to go here for lunch after a hike up Douglas Mountain. It's perfect!

Four seasons is a great place for breakfast. The new owner, (Krista) has done a great job with it. The breakfast and sandwiches are just as they were when I was kid growing up in the area. Make sure to ask for home fries grilled in butter, not fried!

The Hawkes building where Lenny's is located used to be a TV and radio repair shop operated by the Maine bluegrass artist Al Hawkes. Hawkes also operated a recording studio. I beleive that the legendary Maine country music singer Dick Curless recorded there in the 1960's.
Lennys has delicious eats and live music to enjoy.

Parks & Nature
Douglas Mountain hiking is the best! Not too long or short and easy to moderate in terms of difficulty. A stone tower at the peak offers a fantastic panorama of Sebago Lake and surrounding features. Trail head is only 5 minutes from camp. Excellent!

Walk out 100' feet and only be waist high. It's a natural playground. Kids love it especially on windy days when the waves are fun to play in!

Jordan's has a little of everything and is also a great place for fishing supplies and advice. Jordan’s is still owned by the Cutting family for as long as I can remember. It’s pretty much a local icon.
