A favourite Sunday outing.
Sundays are great in Porto Rafti and the surrounding areas. A good Sunday plan is the following:
Coffee at the Horse Riding Club of Kouvara
Swimming at one of the many beautiful beaches (see Porto Rafti Beaches Guidebook)
Meal at Dimitris Porto Rafti
Play time for the kids at Mammis Porto Rafti
There is also a bio-fruit and veg market in Porto Rafti every Sunday from 10am to 2pm on Dionissou Avenue - just after the traffic circle moving away from the beach.
This is an excellent Sunday morning coffee or noon-time drinks outing. There is a great place to sit and soak up the sun while the kids play on the jumping castles or visit the farm animals. There are also horse and donkey rides available.

From souvlakia to souvla you can't go wrong at Dimitris Tavern. On holidays you should book a table. There is an outside section with a view of Porto Rafti bay. However if you can't get to sit there, inside is just as pleasant.
