They have a "Bang Bang" Shrimp special on Wednesdays. The Cerviche and Fish Tacos are also wonderful. Great place for a seafood (fish) dinner. Good Happy Hour and great ambiance.

Great place for lunch downtown, right next to the Marina/Pier. Great waterfront views and you must try the Grouper Nuggets. You also can rent electric boats and segways near there.

Closest Beach to the house is Optimum beach near the pink hotel in downtown St Pete. The new pier also has a small beach that is great for kids and close to pier restaurants.
Weedon Island Preserve (5 miles from the house) is a great place to kayak through Mangroves (sweetwaterkayaks.com) or take a leisurely walk/hike and see some turtles and mullets jumping out of the water.

Fort Desoto (25 minutes from the house) has the Fort, of course, but also has fabulous beaches with picnic tables, grills and changing areas/restrooms. You can also take a ferry to Egmont Key from there where there is beaches, snorkeling, and a lighthouse. (hubbardsmarina.com/egmont-key-ferry-cruise)

Good place to try your hand at fishing next to the Skyway bridge. You can rent fishing gear and buy bait there. A friend, who can fish alot better than I, caught some nice size Grouper for the grill.
