The old town was built at the beginning of the 16th century (in the time of Venice). In 1579 it was restored after explosion of powder-chamber.It hosts a prominent collection of amphorae and other objects from the ancient times and the Middle Ages. Just walk up the stairs from the main square, cross the road at the top and follow the path all the way to the top - the view will blown your mind :)

On the edge of this chic town is a 15th century monastery. As well as being used for small concerts, there is a museum displaying amphorae found in the Adriatic Sea and a collection of currency over a number of decades! In another room is the painting 'The Last Supper' an 8meters by 2.5meters work by the Venetian Matteo Ingoli dating from the end of the 16th century. Outside is an 500 years old Cypress tree.All this is set beside the seater making it very picturesque.
