The Entrance is a buzz with activity every weekend. There are free events most weekends in Memorial Park (car shows, music, markets, festivals). At night, there is always live music at The Lakes Hotel or The Entrance Hotel with some great bands from all over Australia as well as locally. The Entrance also plays host to award-winning restaurants. Make sure you get a pie from Ken's Humble Pies in Coral St. The best pies ever!

Beautiful and expansive Tuggerah Lake is perfect for all water activities - sailing, boating, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding. There is also a flat bike track that goes for several kilometres, or the signposted Coast to Lake walk.

On The Entrance Rd (200m walk), there are some great boutiques and other vintage shops selling retro and bespoke clothing, furniture and collectibles. There are also shops dedicated to organic produce, a home brew store, The Sound Exchange record bar, and The Yoga Cafe, which has a peaceful courtyard at the rear of the store.
