Frederick Church's house overlooking the Hudson. Gorgeous views and good walks. House is very cool, but not great with little kids, tho I always took mine there for picnics.

They've got a farm in the back, so you can usually visit the animals. Very local, very organic. They've got lots of bulk stuff. It can be very expensive as well. But its fun.

They have baby lambs (I know its redundant but they've got a variety of sized lambs) in the spring and they are so cute! You can tour the whole place, where they milk the sheep and all that. They have fresh yoghurt and brie in a fridge in one of the barns and you just help yourself and pay using the honor system.
