Guidebook: Hiking, Caving Beaches, and Restaurants

Hiking: 1. Our favourite: Old Baldy in Kimberly - check out the Alltrails website. 2. Hoggs Falls - short walk from main parking area 3. Eugenia Falls - paid parking onsite. Just down the street you can access Lake Eugenia - another hidden gem in this area. 4. Metcalfe Rock - hiking and phenomenal caving. Free Spirit Tours is a great guide for this and other adventures Beaches: 1. Big Bay - Stone Skipping Capital of Ontario - 1 hr It is a bit of a drive to get here but it is our 8 year olds favourite rocky beach! Rocks are unbelievable and great ice cream!!! Combine with some other hikes and beaches if you visit Owen Sound Area one day. 2. Lake Eugenia - go see the falls and then the Lake. Nice walk around the Dam. 3. Sauble Beach - beautiful sandy beach - paid parking only. If you can...go on a weekday!!

Golfing: - Markdale Golf Club - Ferns Golf - Highland Glen If you are a Pickleball player there is a club in Flesherton and Markdale. Also our driveway has Pickleball lines but you will need to bring your own net and paddles.

Heart's restaurant in Kimberly is a favourite. You may want to call ahead for a reservation.
