The Grove is one of our favorite breakfast spots. Great scrambles, french toast, breakfast burrito and more. Indoor and outdoor seating. Wonderful staff. Walk-in only.
It's located in the heart of Fillmore a 5-10 min walk from our place (slightly uphill on the way back). Plenty of shopping and people watching to enjoy on your way there and back.

It's located in the heart of Fillmore a 5-10 min walk from our place (slightly uphill on the way back). Plenty of shopping and people watching to enjoy on your way there and back.
You'll smell this bakery before you see it. This corner isn't quite as charming as the cute shops and bakeries on Fillmore, but it more than makes up for it with their famous Kouign Amann and Croissants.

Locally owned grocery store with everything from a butcher to gourmet prepped food. It's a short walk away but has plenty of parking. They deliver but also provide free rides home on their shuttle with any purchase (seriously, they'll drop you off on our doorstep).
