Refined Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas & small plates, with select wines in an urbane space. Bottega is perfect for meals in head to head or for business lunch. With a rating of 4.5 stars this restaurant is also more expensive but the food is so good.

Little Italy is definitely the area of Montreal where you will find the best places to buy your coffee, but Café Union is, in my opinion, the best of all. Order the EXPRESSO BAR ELITE coffee (ground for a Breville expresson machine) and enjoy your coffee as soon as you get up. IMPORTANT to mention that it is for a Breville coffee machine otherwise the filter of the machine will clog :-(

The Jean-Talon Market is a place you can't miss. Known for its numerous local fruit and vegetable vendors as well as the cultural diversity of its shopkeepers. It is one of the largest public markets in North America and its atmosphere is lively in both summer and winter. It’s like a little village, a place where families have gathered and generations have grown, merchants and customers alike. At the Jean-Talon Market, you won’t just find fruits and vegetables, but also flowers, spices, oils, cheese, meat, fish and artisanal bakery goods, in addition to a wide selection of regional products from all over Québec!

Mainly gin and tonic bar but with a huge variety of drinks including great house specials. Their hamburger is great. Adjacent to the Marche Jean Talon, enjoyed the atmosphere, outdoor seating overlooking the market, and selection of gin. Quiet during the day and afternoon, but started getting busy around dinnertime.

The best place in Montreal to clean your clothes and I know something about it. As a fashion photographer, all the clothes designer and wardrobe stylists with whom I work, all deal anec Brilotti. They have removed bloodstains, red wines on one of my white shirts many times. Do not waste your time and go to Brilotti.

The iconic Fruiterie Milano is the paradise of Italian products for many Montrealers and even outside residents of the city! They have brands of pasta and shapes that you will not find in any supermarkets. There are shelves overflowing with vinegars and olives or other oils. You will find Italian cheeses that you have not heard of. They also make delicious homemade pasta, gnocchi and the best pizza dough in town. They even have sauce and homemade pesto. My choice of pasta and sauce ... tortellini with meat in rosé sauce and a good glass of red wine. :-)
