The best vegetarian food "to go" without question. Get an "open top" box for around £5 and point out your choice from 20+ amazing dishes. Like a school dinner, except top notch and fresh. Amazing.

The coffee is brilliant, but the best part are the patisseries. A huge selection, fresh from the oven. If you see what you want from a tray hot from the oven, insist on that. Cheap and cheerful.

Recently rebuilt after a terrible kitchen fire, the Electric has style and presence in the area. Worth a drink of a light meal. It's cinema is not cheap (US$25 for a ticket) but worth a look!

Opposite the doors to The Electric, Sheryl's stall sells fresh vegetables and fruit - the range and quality is second to none. For great value, look for a £1 boxes of stock to clear - yum!
