This is the best restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. I love the Beef Wellington, the Crispy Skin Salmon, and the Jidori Chicken Scallopini. I've had almost every item on the menu. So, I can easily recommend this restaurant as the best of South Lake!

Hell's Kitchen - Harveys Resort Hotel & Casino

Great place for breakfast or lunch! If you like golf, then Edgewood Resort is the place to go. Plus, the American Century Celebrity Classic is played there. The food at Bistro Edgewood is excellent. I would say this is the best breakfast and lunch in South Lake Tahoe/Stateline. The service is attentitive and the food is well prepared!

Great place for breakfast or lunch! If you like golf, then Edgewood Resort is the place to go. Plus, the American Century Celebrity Classic is played there. The food at Bistro Edgewood is excellent. Driftwood is a great place to have breakfast. The selections are your mainstream American breakfasts. It's especially convenient if you're staying at the Marriott and want to ride the slopes that day. The food quality is good and I've eaten there several times. They do refill your coffee too!

It's especially convenient if you're staying at the Marriott and want to ride the slopes that day. The food quality is good and I've eaten there several times. They do refill your coffee too!
If you're feeling the urge to have Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine, this is a great place to go! If you just finished a day on the slopes and want to relax before resting at the Marriott, I would definitely recommend Kalani's. They've been a successful restaurant in Heavenly Village for years! I've been there, so I can recommend it!

Great Vietnamese food! I've dined at Lotus Pho a few times and I'm just glad that there's a great Vietnamese restaurant right next to the Marriott Grand and Heavenly. You can get pho noodle soup, fried noodles, rice dishes. These are perfect whether you're visiting Tahoe in the winter or summer!

If you want steak done right, Sage is the place to go in South Lake Tahoe. I also should mention that the view of the Lake from Sage is amazing! Watching the sunset is magical. I watched fireworks on New Year's Eve at Sage. Did I also mention that the steak is great? You won't leave hungry!

I watched fireworks on New Year's Eve at Sage. Did I also mention that the steak is great? You won't leave hungry!
Entertainment & Activities
It's the largest ski resort in Tahoe and it's right next door to the Marriott Grand! Heavenly has skiing options for all skill levels. If you're a beginner, Heavenly offers ski rental, training, and plenty of green and blue runs. If you're advanced, you can ride the black diamond and double black diamonds. I have snowboarded at Heavenly for 24 seasons and have rode down every run that they have. Personally, my favorites are on the Nevada side of the resort: North Bowl, Dipper Bowl, Galaxy, and Stagecoach. There's even more intense terrain if you're looking for more!

If you like to gamble, this is one of the major places to place your bets. Harvey's and Harrah's are both owned by Caesar's Entertainment. Harvey's has two major restaurants (Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and Vanderpump's Wolf). There's some entertainment at night, such as a magic show and dueling pianos. It doesn't get old.
