The high street of Mullum, as we call it, is full of delights. The Main Pub is the heart of town and Baker & Daughters has to be the best pastry shop around. Their coffee's not bad either. And if you like Ramen, then Tombo in the industrial estate just east of town is the go.

Federal is a gorgeous hill town with a great General Store and other delights like Benilato's gelato van. Doma Cafe is a local favourite. Grab an outdoor table and be patient. It's worth it. N.B. Federal has been cut off but a landslip so best accessed via Coolamon Scenic Drive which truly lives up to its name. Stop at Scarabelotti's Lookout en route.
