The Toronto Zoo’s mission is «connecting people, animals and conservation science to fight extinction»: with more than 5,000 animals belonging to 450 species from around the world, you could say they’re doing their part. The zoo is divided into seven different geographic regions, each showcasing animals and plants from that area of the world: Africa, the Americas, Australasia, the Canadian Domain, Eurasia Wilds, Indo-Malaya, and Tundra Trek.
