The area around the little mermaid is very nice! Not only is the statue a danish landmark but “Langelinie” a nice bar and parks. From “Langelinie” you can take the boat to “Refshaleøen” where there is a big street food market.

Old military citadel. A well preserved military fortress. It is still in use and you will probably meet soldiers at the fortress - it is guarded but you may visit!

This is the danish royal palace. You can watch the change of the guards, everyday at noon, from the palace square. There is also a museum you can visit. Right across from the palace is Frederik’s church (also known as the “marble church”)
