A local pub a minutes walk from the house, they have an amazing menu of locally sourced food, and the Sunday Roast is my favourite ever! The decor is also really nice, with art by local artists, and sometimes they live music and events too.

This is a very well stocked local store, with an array of big brand and local brand food items, and, of course they have the usual items like milk, bread, cereal, etc. If you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or anything like that they have you covered too! This is also a great place to gets postcards and souvenirs.

The Blue Bar is a few minutes walk from the house with lovely sea views, excellent local food and another great place to grab tea and coffee. They also have live music occasionally too!

The ultimate ice cream shop :-) They have tons of super tasty options... but the queue often gets long at lunchtime! Luckily you can see the queue from the house so you can see the best time to get your ice cream treats!

There are a bunch of wonderful places to eat and a selection of shops to ensure you have everything you need. Once in Porthtowan you do not need to use your car as everything is within walking distance. There are also surf schools where you can get group or private lessons for surfing, paddle boarding, yoga and more!
