Beautiful beach. The village has some nice cafe's and a pub. There is also the Rainbow Beach Sports Club for meals, entertainment and pokies. They also have a pool, bowling green and gym.

The last bridge of its kind of construction in Australia, the Dickabram Bridge spans the Mary River only 2.5 km down Miva Road from the cottage. There is also a picnic area with bbq's to enjoy the view.
