Rent Snorkel Gear

Snorkel Bob's is about a 1/4 mile North of your stay. You can rent all your gear here. There are several great snorkel beaches on island. The closest would be Lydgate Park which is just after the Wailua River bridge as you head south on Kuhio Hwy. Poipu Beach on the South side is also a fantastic experience. And you can take in Spouting Horn attraction while you're down on that side of the island.

Outdoor Activities

Great hiking trails within 5 minute drive of your stay. If your looking for a work out or just a leisurely walk in the jungle this is the place! You can hike to the top and look down on Kapaa and the spectacular views of the Pacific or take the trails that traverse the base of the mountain from one end to the other. Either way, walking shoes (sneakers tennis shoes) are preferred especially if there has been rain.

This is a must do experience either by boat or helicopter. If that is not in the budget and you've got the energy you can hike it! NanSea and I just hiked into Hanakapiai Beach. A two mile hike in from Ke'e beach. Just head north on Kuhio Hwy until the road ends but before you go you should make reservations or you'll need to shuttle in from Hanalei.
