Hat Creek Power House #2 just recently changed to year-round fishing. No need to wait for trout season here! Regulations are strict here, must use barbless hooks, artificial lures, catch and release only. The fish are plentiful here, but can be tricky to see what they’re hitting on. Good luck!
This place is a wild trout sanctuary! The fish here have vibrant colors and fight like crazy! Best part is that it’s open year-round for fishing! There is an excellent hiking trail here, or bring your kayaks and flown downstream!

This federally owned sledding hill is about a 10 minute drive from the house. You’ll beat the crowds if you leave around 8:00am and you’ll be worn out by the time it gets busy! Then just head back to the Hat Creek Cabin to relax!
