On the Northside of the estuary are the beautiful gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan which both offer valleys full of sub-tropical plants dipping down to the water’s edge. There are great pubs and walks along the banks of the estuary.

Take a trip by Ferry from Falmouth (Prince of Wales Pier) and discover the beauty of the Carrick Roads. Ferries run all the way up the Fal to Malpas where there is an excellent pub, and you can stop off at Trellisick to explore the wonderful house and gardens.

There are plenty of panoramic views along the way and Maenporth beach is a great destination to spend some time with a lovely cafe and public toilets.
