Hiking is amazing….

If you want to hike right here, go down the driveway, make a left and within a few minutes you can pick any of three (fire) roads to hike on your right. All of them are beautiful, very safe and have views. The farther two roads have charming bridges that cross the creak. A very famous and amazing hike here is Big Rock. This requires a car, but it’s only about 15 minutes drive from our house.

The Marin farmers market on Thursdays and Sundays

These are at the Marin Civic Center and are in the morning. Perhaps the best farmers market in the US! About a 20 minute drive from our home

Hot Tub at Night

The stars are breathtaking. Feel free to use the tub. Please ensure cover is back on. We keep no lights on at the tub. We’ll leave a flashlight in your room.

It can be chilly, it can be quite warm

Nights tend to be cold, days very warm.

We are on well water.

We ask everyone to conserve water. Regardless of rain, we are always in a drought here and do not have an unlimited water supply. Also, our well water is great. The water is first softened, then run through a charcoal filter to remove any chemicals, metals, and other toxins, and finally through a UV light to kill bacteria.

Not that far, but once you come you may want not to leave...

We are in a secluded, beautiful area--about 35 minutes to food. Last week we had a guest came late and asked, "Is there anywhere to eat?" Well, no. So in this spirit, we are offering a food option. For $79, we will provide organic, vegetarian provisions for two which will include (*: homemade, really!) 1. Chocolate chip almond low-carb cookies.* 2. Seed crackers.* 3. Whole milk yogurt.* 4. Locally sourced organic fruit. 5. Kombucha* or iced tea. 6. Nuts 7. Cheese 8. Hummus* 9. Bean veg soup* Let me know if you wish this package, some substitutes possible. Pay by Venmo :)
