You'll need a car to get around Sunapee.
During the winter, roads can be icy or steep so a car with 4-wheel drive is recommended. Most places are less than 20 minutes drive away, but since Sunapee is in wooded New Hampshire almost nothing is walking distance (minus the general store right near our house)
