Then walk around a bit and try any one of the restaurants in the area, they are all good. Bees Knees, The Hive, Craft and Vine, Frog Hollow, or head off Broad street and get some crayfish at Beemie's At the River. You are also close to the river walk if you eat too much and need to stretch your legs. Downtown Augusta is tons of fun.

Savannah Rapids Pavilion is where you can park your car and then see the Augusta Canal, locks, and/or go for a run/walk/bike ride for as far as you like. If you are a long distance runner or a biker capable of 20 miles in a day, start here and follow the trails for about 10 miles, all the way to downtown Augusta or Hammond's Ferry. We would bike to Manuel's, eat breakfast and then bike back. Makes a great day.
