La Jolla - check out La Jolla cove. Great snorkeling and walk the coast where you'll see sea lions hanging out. Check out "The Cave Store", I think its reservation only right now because of COVID, but its a super cool souvenir shop that has a cave in the back. You walk down like 150 steps into this cave that is pretty much on the ocean. They used to smuggle alcohol through it during the prohibition. Lastly, google "la jolla secret swings" for a swing that looks over the SD coastline, super cool photo spot.

Nates Garden Grill: This is a gem right down the street from the property if you guys don't want to go very far. They have live music on the weekends and great food. Great chili and pulled pork sand which here. You can actually walk the canyon behind the house to this spot in about 5 minutes. Just exit out the back fence of the property, walk right to the end of the alley and follow the canyon down 5 minutes and you'll reach Nates!

Best Views of the City

The best view of San Diego: check out these two places for great photos/views of San Diego. Cabrillo National Monument (day pass is kind of expensive here) but its arguably the best view of San Diego. You can also go down the hill and walk through the tide pools. Soledad Park - in the La Jolla area, so do that if you go to La Jolla.
