Wonderful walk within the Lee Valley Regional Park, walk along Cornmill stream. Cornmill Meadow is a dragonfly sancturary, is great for bird-watching, and just a peaceful green walk. Directly accessible from Waltham Abbey Garden. You can make it into a circular walk or carry on up to Fishers Green.

Fishers Green is a great spot within the Lee Valley Regional Park, where there is more water than land. It has a car park, you can walk up or cycle from the house.

There you will find convenience stores (the Coop, a chemist) as well as independent cafes with tables outside (we recommend the Royal Artisan and Crepes and Shakes), as well as two pubs (The Angel and the Sunn Inn). Also restaurants, nail bars, and barbers. The Epping District Museum is also here.
