Sightseeing

Want to explore somewhere different and not so tourist-y in London? Head to St Katharine Docks. This marina by Tower Bridge and the Tower of London is a world apart from the rest of the city in terms of both look and feel. Tucked away in its own self-contained area, its sea of masts and maze of footbridges makes it seem like it’s on the sea. It's also the place for small, independent restaurants and coffee shops. You will also see the Dickens' Inn, an 18th-century pub sit side-by-side with contemporary architecture. A must see.

Food scene

So much great, quality, fresh food from independent farmers. You can have a stroll around whilst trying the best street food in town. Whatever the taste.

Hidden inside colourful courtyard Neal’s Yard, you’ll find a micro-village full of independent restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. Easy to miss, but it would be unfortunate if you did. Must see.

There are many ways to get around London

- Tube is the fastest way to get around. The most convenient way of paying for transport is by contactless card. Avoid the Oyster card (weekly or daily fixed fee), as it turns out to be more expensive. - Buses are another way of getting around places easily. Use GoogleMaps to know exactly which route to get. - You can also rent a bike for the day: Boris Bikes is a public bicycle hire scheme in London. It costs £2 for 24h. You can also use Lime bikes and Jump - Uber is also an alternative and since we're so central, it's quite inexpensive to go around.

Consider walking

London is beautiful and walking around is very pleasant, especially when the weather is nice. Consider walking to nearby amenities and places, so you don't miss out on the beautiful scenery.

Backyard Cinema

Backyard Cinema is an independent cinema that creates iconic and immersive experiences where people can watch their favourite films and new releases. Christmas period is my personal favourite. Tickets are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it!
